Comply with ePrivacy Directive (EU Cookie Law)

The ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), commonly known as the EU Cookie Law, regulates the use of cookies and similar technologies to store information on users’ devices. It requires that users be informed and give consent before cookies are placed on their devices, except for those that are strictly necessary for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user.

In the UK, the ePrivacy Directive is implemented through the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), which works alongside the UK GDPR to protect user privacy in the electronic communications sector.
